S u s a n  C r e n s h a w  began her mission journey when God's transformational power collided with her love for children. On her first trip out of the United States, Susan remembers passing through the slums of Costa Rica and seeing houses built with no more than corrugated aluminum. Returning summers later, she fed people as a way to gain trust in the community and ultimately serve in the Lord's work of rescuing young girls from lifetimes of prostitution and drug abuse.

Raised in a Christian home with three brothers and two sisters in Jacksonville, FL, Susan came to faith in Christ as a small girl. Since graduating from Covenant College with a degree in elementary education and minor in Spanish, Susan has taught elemntary ESL (English as a Second Language) in public schools. Her heart has presently drawn her to the mission field.

Susan visited Lima after hearing about the work in the Church here and saw the needs in areas surrounding Peru's capitol. She serves with the Lima New City team teaching ESL, training in evangelism, directing the children's ministry of Luz de Vida, and currently serves as co-director for the House of Glory.

Mark pastors the local church, Luz de Vida, in the Ate district of Lima and ministers to the community there. He directs the Lima New City team and serves as president of the Peru mission of MTW. Lori's ministry is both with her family (Mark and their five children), and to the women in the church, discipling and encouraging them. As you pray for them, pray that they would grow strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus and be used by God to extend His gracious rule and reign in Peru.

Their children are Emmett (8/12/97), Anna (3/26/99), Taylor (8/12/00), Abigail (6/27/02), and Hadassah (7/31/08).

Jeremy recognized his love for kids through being a dorm parent at a deaf school in St. Louis. His love for missions was confirmed when he spent a summer in Ukraine as an MTW intern. In the summer of 2003, they visited Peru and felt a distinct call to return. They arrived in Lima February 2007 and are beginning a street child ministry working alongside the church plant.

On June 1, they opened a girls home, The House of Glory, for adolescent mothers and pregnant girls coming out of abuse or abandonment.
Please pray for encouragement, strength and grace as they minister to street children and their families.

met while attending Covenant College. Jeremy received a degree in sociology and went on to Covenant seminary to receive and M. A. in theological studies. Amanda received her teaching degree at Covenant and then graduated from Columbia International University with an intercultural studies degree and a certificate in teaching English as a second language. Amanda was burdened for children at risk when she spent a summer in Mexico working with street children. As a result, she taught at an inner city school, lived in a Habitat for Humanity community in Miami, and wrote a master's thesis on the moral issues of street children.

Jim, from Pittsburgh, and Sara, from St. Louis,  met while attending New City Fellowship of St. Louis (NCF) and were married in 1995. May 1996 Jim finished his Masters of Divinity from Covenant Seminary. He came on staff full time at NCF as Director of Music. Sara came on staff at NCF to coordinate the Food Pantry and Free Store, which helped give basic needs to single mothers, refugees, and immigrants. November 2001, the Lord called the Ward's to Springton Lake PCA to have Jim become Assistant Pastor of Youth and Families and Minister of Worship.

Jim and Sara believe the Lord has opened the door for them to minister in Peru. Jim longs to preach the gospel, while coming alongside Peruvian pastors and supporting them in their ministry. Sara's passion is to help those in great need; one way is by helping families to provide income for themselves, by developing skills and creating job opportunities. Both Jim and Sara desire to help develop true relationships between U.S. and Peruvian churches. Their children are Caroline 2/28/97, Chloe 5/5/99, and Elijah 1/25/02.
